My artifact
Prezi is one of my favorite ways to present. It is non-linear and can be set up, shared, and viewed so easily.
My presentation explains that in this class I was able to increase my online resources for use in my future classroom. Technology is just steadily growing and it will be up to me to include it in all of the subjects I teach.
I also learned that we must be aware of what struggles our students may have with an assignment we have chosen. Accommodations might be made for students with disabilities or impairments, but beyond that I have to be aware of situations that require additional thought such as, the student may not have access to the internet or family members who might be available/willing to help them if needed.
I will be using arts in every way possible. I've always felt that its a good way to get students involved, proud of what they are doing, and to keep things from getting boring. I am a writer, an actor, and a stand-up comic. I know what this involvement has done for my self-esteem, meeting new people, and willingness to try new things. I can't wait to offer that same opportunity to my students.
